HILTI’s 2018 Innovation Day media event
Hilti’s 2018 Innovation Day media event took place in Dallas, this past September. The two-day event began with a trip to the Texas Rangers’ stadium, Globe Life Park, and a look at the new $1.1 billion future Texas Rangers stadium across the street, Globe Life Field.
The following day featured an in-depth look at the new tools Hilti plans to release in 2019. New products include: a metal-cutting diamond blade; a cordless brushless jigsaw that can bevel up to 52 degrees and has a quick-release chuck, variable-speed trigger and six max-speed settings; a reciprocating saw with cylindrical chuck design and less vibration than previous generation; a cordless OSHA Silica Table 1-compliant vacuum with manual filter cleaning capability, as well as eco and max mode to extend runtime; an auto-leveling rotary laser; and more.
“We are seeing job sites becoming much more digital and much more advanced,” said Avi Kahn, president and CEO, Hilti North America. “Our customers are looking for productivity, and one of the ways to do that is to enhance digital offerings from preplanning all the way to construction.”
