Falcon Waterfree Opens New R&D Center in Brea
Falcon Waterfree Technologies, a supplier of water-free urinals, announced Oct. 22 the opening of a new research and development center in Brea, Calif. Michael Higgins, vice president of research and development, said the new facility includes laboratories for development of sealants, electronics research, product testing, quality control, specification verification, a molding and prototype area, plus a complete workshop.
Also on tap are CAD stations and a 3-dimensional printer for rapid prototyping, a graphics workstation, an extensive material research library, and a centralized document control system.
"Falcon is striving to keep on the very cutting edge of technology within the touch-free, waterfree industry, Higgins said. "The significant capital investment we've made in our new research and development center provides not only increased product development and testing capabilities, but also decreased time to market for current and future generations of waterfree products."--RJ
