PHCC Educational Foundation Fundraising Sets Record
Just more than $110,000 was raised, smashing past fundraising records by over 10 percent, observers said. Fundraiser proceeds benefit the PHCC Educational Foundation and the PHCC National Auxiliary Scholarship Program.
Support from In-Sink-Erator of Racine, Wis., is being hailed as the driving force behind record breaking 2005 fundraising results-the company provided a one-third matching gift to each individual contribution to the 2005 fundraiser.
"The matching gift from In-Sink-Erator is very important," said Foundation chairman, James Driscoll. "Our contributors know that every dollar they give is further educating our future leaders and helping existing contractors further their success. We truly appreciate their support."
"We must plan for tomorrow while serving the needs of today," said Dennis Broderick, In-Sink-Erator senior vice president of sales. "The 'Invest in Your Future' fundraiser allows us to focus our support into a single channel that provides both scholarships for future industry leaders and education for today's contractors through the Foundation."
In-Sink-Erator has confirmed a plan to sponsor the 2006 Annual Giving Campaign, marking the 18th consecutive year In-Sink-Erator has made a commitment to the fundraiser. The 2006 contribution goal has been set at $125,000, with a major drive to complete fundraising by the close of the PHCC National Association's annual convention, scheduled for Chicago's McCormick Place Sept. 26-30, 2006.
