Schier Products Expands Presence Westward

Western locales will soon have easier access to grease interceptors and other products brought to market by Schier Products of New Berlin, Wis., with the new hire of both Southern California, Hawaii, Nevada and South Texas representatives.
    “We’re eyeballing the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, too,” said sales and marketing manager Charlie Ismert. “We hope to secure representation by the end of the year. We've always had a sales presence in the Western states, but without IAPMO listings on some of the more code-enforced products, like grease interceptors, it was difficult to make much traction with a traditional manufacturer's rep. As of this spring, we now have IAPMO listings for our 25, 50, 75 and 100 GPM polyethylene grease interceptors.”
    Now representing Schier products in Southern California and Hawaii is TD Sales in Encinitas, Calif. In Southern Nevada, the new reps are Specified Piping Systems Inc., in Las Vegas and in South Texas, check with HIT Marketing in Houston.
