Committed to training customers on industry trends, business development and other  key topics, Viega, the Wichita-based supplier of plumbing and heating systems, is hosting the Viega Fall Hydronics Seminar with John Siegenthaler, Oct. 14 and 15.
Siegenthaler, a well-known expert in the field of hydronic heating, will present the seminar at the company’s educational facility--located in in Nashua, N.H.--on some of the latest materials and methods of modern hydronic heating including: smart pumping, hydraulic separation, heat metering, homerun water distribution systems and thermal accumulators. To register, call (877) 843-4262.
And, in other action, the company said that a pair of contractors already has achieved Platinum status in its Training Rewards Program, earning cool trips and other perks.
Vinnie Bertrand of The Heat Doctor in Ocean Park, Wash., and Mike Fjeldheim of Taft Plumbing in Agawam, Mass., achieved Platinum status a mere five months after the program was rolled out.
Viega’s Training Rewards Program allows participants to build points similarly to the way travelers accumulate “frequent flyer” miles by attending training courses. Bertrand and Fjeldheim earned 100 points by spending ten days and more than 80 hours in Viega dedicated training courses.
As Platinum reward members, Bertrand and Fjeldheim will receive a complementary getaway weekend for two to Bermuda, a RIDGID Compact 100B tool (less jaws) and a hotel upgrade to concierge level every time they attend a training course at Viega’s educational facility.
