The crew of Orange County Choppers, the guys who each week build a new custom motorcycle under deadline pressure while comically bickering and sniping amongst themselves for the TLC network reality program, “American Chopper,” paid a visit Feb. 5 to the Wichita headquarters of Viega NA to present the company with a spanking new custom motorcycle.    
    Paul Teutul Sr., Paul Teutul Jr. and Mikey Teutul made the presentation to a packed crowd at a fire station in downtown Wichita. Viega plans to use the bike for marketing purposes and at trade shows around the United States. The episode of  “American Chopper” focusing on the construction of the Viega chopper was scheduled to air Mar. 20 at 8 p.m. on TLC.Made with Viega’s corporate colors of black and yellow, the bike incorporates Viega copper and stainless steel fittings as part of its design.   
    The Viega Custom Chopper will travel to trade shows throughout North America during 2008 to draw additional traffic to the company’s booth. At the end of the bike’s “world tour” it will be placed on display in Viega’s new manufacturing/logistics facility in McPherson, Kan.
