One thing I’ve been meaning to do since I became the editor
of Reeves Journal is to create an
Editorial Advisory Board. This would consist of 10 or 15 folks representing all
aspects of the industry—some contractors, some manufacturers, some association
folks, and so forth.
The idea is that these people would
serve as a regular sounding board for myself and the rest of the writers at Reeves off of whom we could bounce our
ideas and suggest additional resources to interview, applaud our insight in
picking up on a topic or a trend or to flat-out tell us we’re barking up the wrong tree.
I’m going to start getting in touch
with some folks within the next week or so. I hope you be able to announce the
“starting lineup” of our first-ever Editorial Advisory Board within the next
two months. Of course, the first official announcement will be made here, with
a follow-up in the print edition of the magazine.
If you would like to nominate
somebody—even yourself, why not?—DON’T PUT IT HERE AS A COMMENT! Just fire off
an e-mail to jack@reevesjournal.com or call me
at (949) 830-0881 ext
3933 and we can talk ‘er over.
