Lochinvar is pleased to announce the recent opening of a new distribution center in the Chicago area. The strategic addition of this new distribution center is intended to meet increasing customer demand, the company said. The facility, located in Elk Grove Village, Ill., opened its doors on Dec. 5. 
   "The addition of the new stocking warehouse in the Chicago area allows us to continue to grow our business by expanding upon our distribution," said Mike Lahti, vice president of sales. "Increasing our presence in the Midwest helps to better reach our valued current customers, while also introducing new customers to the high-efficiency and advanced technology that Lochinvar products are known for throughout the industry." 
   Like Lochinvar's other warehouse facilities, which are located in Detroit, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix, Pompano Beach, Dallas and at company headquarters in Lebanon, TN, the new warehouse stocks the company's complete line of water heaters, boilers, pool heaters and storage tanks.
