PHCC ORSB Sets Trade Show Date
The PHCC of Orange, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties said its PHCC.com Trade Show is set for Oct. 16 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The group said the event, which will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., will feature free admission and a host of events and educational opportunities. Bradford White Charity Golf
Bradford White was recently the Presenting Sponsor of the 2010 NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter Charity Golf Classic. The fund raising event was hosted by Ron Jaworksi's Running Deer Golf Club in Pittsgrove, NJ. In the fund raising efforts, Bradford White donated $25,000 to the NFL Alumni Philadelphia chapter. The net proceeds from the Philadelphia Chapter NFL Alumni tournament are donated to various local youth charities.

A.O. Smith Bangalore Factory Opens
A special ribbon cutting ceremony attended by company officials, dealers, and customers Jun. 30 marked the official opening of A. O. Smith's newest manufacturing operation, a residential water heater plant in Bangalore, India. The 76,000-square-foot plant will manufacture glass-lined residential water heaters for the Indian market in sizes ranging up to 100 liters. Located on 20 acres just outside of Bangalore, the plant will serve as the headquarters for A. O. Smith's Indian business.

Santa Rosa PACE Branch Hosts Vendor Fair
The Santa Rosa, Calif. branch of PACE Supply Corp. recently hosted a Commercial Vendor Fair event, featuring a lucky 13 manufacturers who displayed their products. Held at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel & Spa, the event w designed to allow key accounts, local builders and engineers the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the specific product lines PACE stocks in its showrooms.

Steamist Names Rep of the Year
Steamist, a supplier of residential steam and sauna products, said its Rep of the Year award went to DME Marketing. Based in Western Canada with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver, DME Marketing was selected from Steamist's 26 North American sales representative agencies as a result of its "ongoing commitment to outstanding product representation, market development and customer service."

 

UMC, UPC Now at Veteran Cemeteries
Effective July 16, the Uniform Plumbing Code and Uniform Mechanical Code will be the codes of practice used by the federal government for the establishment, expansion and improvement of state veteran's cemeteries and in instances where no local or state code exists or local/state codes are less stringent than the UPC/UMC.
