Organizers of the 2010 AHR Expo in Orlando Jan. 31-Feb.2 said the event attracted nearly 45,000 registered attendees, a figure that “far exceeded” pre-show estimates.
“There is great interest and demand for ‘green’/sustainable products and technologies,” said International Exposition Company president Clay Stevens. “Hundreds of exhibitors were featuring energy-efficient solutions and we offered a variety of educational sessions built around these interests.”
The 28,582 registered visitors, a nearly eight percent increase from the 2005 AHR Expo in Orlando, set a new record for Southeast HVAC/R shows. Exhibiting companies—1,823 of them--came from 120 different countries, and more than 200 were first-time exhibitors at AHR Expo.
