A series of three meetings designed to provide independent contractors with strategies to use buying power, state-of-the-art technology, and new advertising strategies has been announced as a unique cooperative effort by a group of sponsoring organizations.
The events, sponsored by Clockwork Home Services, Inc., Barnett Pro Contractor Supplies, Johnstone Supply, Wesco, Goodman Manufacturing, Michelin Tire, and Staples, will initially be held in three cities: Orlando on Mar. 26, Las Vegas on Apr. 16, and Dallas on May 7. The focus will be on three key factors that all successful companies exhibit: Buying right, advertising right, and selling right.
As a special bonus presentation, organizers said "Buy For a Dime-Sell For a Dollar," participants will learn how to find and acquire companies inexpensively or how to prepare to get the highest price for a business.
The first 100 registrants will receive a tuition voucher to cover the $99 investment. In addition, every attendee has a chance at receiving prizes, including a $1,000 credit at their favorite supply house. Each attendee receives a $237 buying credit and will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes with a chance to win a $10,000 integrated software package and a chance to win a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 extended cab truck.
