InSinkErator said it would continue its longstanding support of the educational and professional development of p-h-c contractors with a $25,000 donation to the 2009 Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Educational Foundation’s “Invest in Your Future” campaign.

The company will renew its commitment to industry education at CONNECT 2009, the 127th PHCC—National Association annual convention, held Oct. 21-23, in New Orleans. Over the past 20 years, the company has given more than $500,000 in contributions and support to help educate the industry’s next generation of plumbing professionals through the PHCC Educational Foundation.

“We are proud of our active partnership with the PHCC Educational Foundation, as they are a leader in promoting the education of today’s contractors,” said Dennis Broderick, vice president of wholesale sales at InSinkErator. “The Invest in Your Future campaign not only helps current contractors and their employees meet industry challenges through education and training, it also helps future industry leaders launch successful careers through the auxiliary scholarships it supports.”

InSinkErator also supports PHCC auxiliary members who are valuable members of their communities. In cooperation with the PHCC National Auxiliary, the company will sponsor a community service luncheon and awards ceremony at CONNECT 2009. Among the accolades to be awarded are the Robert M. Cox Humanitarian and Larry Dore Member of the Year Awards, which recognize outstanding efforts of state or local auxiliaries and members who have made an impact on the plumbing, heating and cooling industry or local community.

CONNECT 2009 will offer attending contractors an opportunity to gain insight on industry trends and new products at the Product and Technology Showcase.
