Mr.Steam said it has launched a new continuing education curriculum for the American Institute of Architects titled “Installation Guidelines for Steam Shower Systems.” The free one-hour program is designed to expose architects to the potential benefits of steam therapy and provide them with a working knowledge of the proper installation of steam bath systems.
The “Installation Guidelines for Steam Shower Systems” program by Mr.Steam is a Health Safety & Welfare-approved learning unit and results in 1 credit (HSW and LU) for AIA Continuing Education. The program is sponsored by a CES facilitator who presents the session at a scheduled firm or chapter meeting. After giving participants a handout the CES facilitator provides an overview on how to properly install steam therapy systems and how installers can minimize field issues. The session is interactive and encourages feedback with frequent question and answer opportunities throughout the presentation.
The continuing education system developed by the AIA emphasizes learning and participation in professional development activities. The program also allows members to fulfill AIA membership requirements and meet any mandatory state continuing education needs.
