Employees of the company say owner Leon Langhamer has been told he's one of the oldest, living, practicing master plumbers in the state of Texas. The company plans a celebration to commemorate the milestone event and the business has already been featured in the local newspaper. It's not often a plumbing business reaches the half-century mark, but the secrets to that kind of longevity are deceptively simple: "Good customer service and running a tight ship is what got us to 50 years," Langhamer said.
