Rheem Heating & Cooling has debuted its Total Access Training, an online multimedia training component including several pre-existing courses for contractors and technicians that address seasonal climate issues and environmentally friendly solutions.
In addition, the company recently rolled out a free bimonthly electronic newsletter, called “How to Sell Smarter Hot Water,” featuring kitchen and bath design guru Hank Darlington.
Offered around the clock, Total Access Training is available online at
www.thetrainingnetwork.com, and is designed to help Rheem and Ruud contractors further expand their knowledge while growing their business. The affordable new training courses are part of The Training Network, which was updated earlier this year.
Courses focus on various technical and mechanical subjects that are especially prominent in today’s HVAC industry, including Thermostatic Expansion Valves; Improving Compressor Reliability; Refrigerant 410A; and a course on the Rheem and Ruud Comfort Control System. In addition, Total Access Training allows contractors to develop and monitor their own personalized curricula that will help them achieve their training goals.
Bath design, showroom sales and other trade professionals have a new tool for sharpening their skills at identifying the correct hot-water solution for a project, based on desired performance, budget and operating costs.
Rheem’s “How to Sell Smarter Hot Water” E-newsletter can be had at no cost by designers, showroom consultants, builders and remodeler salespeople, kitchen and bath dealers, plumbing contractors and anyone in the business of designing, building and equipping modern bathrooms, including the water heating systems behind the fixtures and fittings.
Teacher, speaker, author and showroom expert Hank Darlington serves as chief consultant to “How to Sell Smarter Hot Water.” Not only is he a regular contributor, but he will also advise Rheem on the types of articles and tips that would help trade professionals boost their hot-water expertise. A 2004 inductee into the Kitchen & Bath Industry Hall of Fame, Darlington is the former owner and operator of The Plumbery, a $10 million-a-year bath and kitchen showroom business in Sacramento.
