The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute of Rolling Meadows, Ill., said Feb. 28 it would extend the registration deadline for its upcoming Spring Meeting. Those who wish to attend the Mar. 30-Apr. 2 event at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, Calif., now have until Mar. 5 to complete registration, PMI said.
    The group also pointed to a roster of speakers and programs aimed at motivating attendees to sign on the dotted line, including:   
    --California Senator and "Legislator of the Year" Ronald Calderon;   
    -- Ankit Fadia, a computer security expert of worldwide repute;  
    --Dean Chung, who will present, "Emergence of India in the Global Marketplace";   
    --Veteran political strategist Michael Murphy;   
    --A "Super Session" on rain water and gray water reuse;   
    --Plus the opportunity to do the "networking" thing with your industry peers.
