Student plumbers have a benefactor in Mike Diamond Plumbing, Inc.
The company recently announced the launch of a scholarship program for students enrolled in the plumbing technology program at WyoTech, a trade school with campuses across the United States.
Mike Diamond vice president James Thompson said the company is happy to provide them:  “It is a way that we can contribute to the education of the students," Thompson said. "We have always been very committed to the plumbing industry.”
The scholarships are $1,000 each and are awarded every quarter to a different student at the Long Beach Campus. Recipients are selected by the instructors at WyoTech’s Plumbing Technology program and based upon the students’ GPA, class participation and overall performance in the class.
