The City of Milwaukee has recognized Starline, the Milwaukee-based foundry for Chicago Faucets, for exemplary implementation of environmental conservation regulations.
Milwaukee city officials said one of its greatest resources is its supply of clean Lake Michigan water.  To ensure that no chemicals enter the wastewater, Starline stores all dangerous substances in double-walled containers.
“Improving water quality and environmental protection are very important matters for me and the company,” said Starline environmental manager Hector Hernandez. “I very much enjoy working in these areas and find it important that [parent company] Geberit is contributing toward preserving our nature for future generations. Our team is constantly implementing new measures to ensure that we produce in a more environmentally friendly way.”
