Former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Defense Tom Ridge has been tapped to deliver the keynote speech at the Plumbing Manufacturing Institute's Fall Meeting, scheduled for Washington D.C. Oct. 16-19.
Ridge's appearance and presentation, "The Business Impact of Homeland Security and the Emergence of China," is part of PMI's celebration of its 30th Anniversary.
In addition to Ridge, other speakers include Michael Colopy, who will provide an update on Chinese culture, history and business; Tony Luh, managing director of Dragon Ventures, is set to discuss the proposed PMI trade mission to China.
The E-Business Issues and Opportunities Standing Committee, also meeting during the event, will feature two presentations: Digital Asset Management with Matthew Gonnering, director of sales and marketing for Widen Enterprises and Radio Frequency Identification with Patrick Yanahan, president of USA Strategies, Inc.
