Conservation Services Group of Westboro, Mass., said last month it would expand its training services to ensure high quality education is accessible to more people involved in weatherizing America's homes. An online building science curriculum for the open market was launched by CSG Dec. 6 to supplement the continuing education program the company has carried out for more than 20 years.
The online courses are designed for contractors, builders, home energy systems raters, designers, code officials and others who cannot attend a classroom session, but want to earn Building Performance Institute Continuing Education Units. CSG designed and developed each course comprising high-resolution, HD video; graphics and interactivity. Available on demand, CSG's online training is accessible to anyone with broadband access, anywhere, any time.
Courses available this month are "Building Science Basics" and "Going Solar." Another course, "Controlling Moisture in the Home," is in development and will be available in 2012.
Each CSG online training course is $49.99 and qualifies for continuing education credits worth 1.5 CEUs. To purchase courses online, go to www.csgrp.com/training. For more information on CSG's continuing education curriculum, contact (855) 201-7306.
